Description
For sale is my 1949 BSA C10. It is a 250cc side valve, which I have owned for close to two years. I bought the bike from Andy Tiernan, who had himself purchased it from the estate of a London gentleman, who was a collector of BSA lightweights.
As you can see, the bike has never been subject to a restoration, and has simply been maintained to keep it in useable order. During my ownership, I have replaced the tyres and inner tubes, rebuilt the carburettor, replaced the throttle cable, and replaced and rewired the rear light and foot brake switch.
Personally I like the look and character of the bike. Whilst in no way a show winner, it has taken seventy-five years to gain this level of patina, and has a look that is impossible to artificially replicate.
