My personal P4 that was restored fairly recently.
New parts; Batteries, tyres (x5), roof, doors, rear lights, all bulbs, windscreen wipers, windscreen surround, sunvisors, rear view mirror, floor mats, recovered seats, radiator (reconditioned), number plates and repainted.
All fluid changed with new filters. No expense spared!
Any corrosion was fully addressed and panels replaced where needed. Freshly undersealed.
On the button - as good as new (well nearly?!)
Very early model, so UK registered 'v'. Mot exempt, nil road tax, low insurance, CAZ and ULEZ compliant.
Diesel, 4 speed, low and high ratio gears - very competent off road.
Can be converted to a cabriolet in under 5 minutes. Roof folds back and doors lift off easily.
The P4 was a joint Mercedes and Peugeot development in 1979. The Germans called theirs the G Wagon, the French the P4. 90% parts shared, but this version has the bullet proof Peugeot 2. 5 diesel and 4 speed box. All parts are readily available on the net.
I've added sound proofing under the bonnet to keep the noise down, so it's a civilised drive. I'm simply not going to use this as I had hoped (other exciting projects distracting me!) So offered here sensibly priced (no offers sorry) but I can deliver and offer ongoing technical and 'moral support'. I am working on another P4 currently, a Military version....
A sound investment as 4x4 prices continue to rise in this area of the market, and this is a fraction of the cost of a G Wagon.
