1997 Caterham 1. 8 k series 5 speed in Caterham yellow with black wings and noseband. Dedion car fitted with an upgraded 1. 8 160bhp VVC Trophy dry sumped(gold pump) engine, Powerspeed exhaust, perfect for road and track. Total refurbishment in 2005 by Millwood including replacement chassis and new panels by Arch Motors and upgraded to removal engine bracing. Newer cross bar FIA roll over hoop fitted at the same time. The chassis remains in exceptional condition belying its mileage.
Complete engine overhaul, new cambelts, every hose upgraded to silicon with new clips. Bleed T fitted and new heater valve. Fresh oil and new OAT coolant. New battery. New brake disks all round. Fitted with gorgeous 2 piece split rim SLR 13” staggered wheels, Toyo 888R tyres with plenty of tread remaining, front being new and rears date stamped 2022.
Comes with removal leather Momo steering wheel, Caterham branded rubber mats. Leather adjustable seats and Caterham branded harnesses. Full hood and hood bag, boot carpet.
This car has covered 35, 000 miles following refurbishment and has all history from new, with many £1000s spent over the years that back up the fact that this car has been maintained to a good level .
