I'm selling my beautiful
E46 325ci sport turbo conversion and rebuild project
clean for its age underside is very very clean
I will get in early both wings have small spot of rust I was going to rectify and ent of the project then mot time... how ever your seeing this advert ...
87k on the shell.
engines rebuilt with no miles currently
crankshaft machine re finished
all new bottom end bearings
Head and block machined to take larger headbolts
decompression plate
£1000 in machine shop work,
the engine had been rebuilt
with +. 5 rebore pistons
new chain kit
new oil pump
rebuild and machine shop costs together cost £5000
the turbo kit (including upgraded cluthc and flywheel )
£3900 with import charge
also has baffled sump install.
running a Owen development's gtx3576 turbo with a slightly smaller compresser wheel
£1300 I didn't want to use the some what cheaper turbo from the kit
full custom exhaust and intercooler installed this cost £650.
the exhaust is a 3" turbo back going into 2 boxes all v clamped joints no half measures.
I don't do straight through exhausts as they sound absolutely dog shit but if you want that you can buy a golf lol.
with labour and a long list of parts I'm about 14k plus the car
what's left to do ?
cold side of the intercooler to the intake pipe
rear exhaust section currently not fitted needs a hanger mount
fuel pump (came with the kit )
and then either working with the stock ecu or a piggy bank or standalone
that's up to you at this point
it's a lovely car that I seem to be lacking the time and lifestyle in order to complete this car.
with the aim of running 18 to 20 psi having looked closey at other people's builds this is capable of making 440 horses power and 600nm of torque
they are impressive engines when turbocharged
and it will make a crazy car
but the time and life circumstances push the sale
I have put so much into this car I will have pictures of various stages through the project
it will be sad to see her go so close to the end .
she runs
however you must know
the fact that she's now running 640cc injectors until she's mapped/ tuned etc
she doesn't like any more than idle because
the brain has no clue what everything's doing right now so this is expected
I won't take silly offers
7500 is where I want it to be
bare in mind with the car I have spent twice that
and the likely hood of you finding someone else mad enough to do this is pretty slim so this is your chance to buy into something pretty special

I dont have a driveways where the mot run out during the rebuild she's not taxed etc
so if you want the car It's currently at the garage where the rebuild was completed
I would have to clear viewing with them first and of course if its to be collected etc
life changes have forced sale
