Description
Hello,
On sale this big history unique car that should belong to a museum.
The car was designed in 1985 by EDDY COLANBEEN under the supervision of GIUSEPPE VOLTA who prepared the mechanics (1, 600 cc, RWD).
In 1986 and 1987 he became Rallycross champion and also won the international tournament in Switzerland in all categories.
In 1988 the competition increased with cars from the forbidden Group B, so the idea of SERGIO CRESTO was born, who shared a drawing for Autocross 037 4WD with G. VOLTA. The latter advised EDDY to realize this project and he also prepared and sent a new 2, 000 cc engine.
This car is therefore the first 037 4WD to race in an official championship!
In 1989 Eddy sold the car, which disappeared for 30 years but was re-launched 4 years ago without mechanics. The fiberglass parts of the car's bodywork were restored inside to keep the original colors of the 1988 exterior! A tuned 1, 600cc turbo engine was installed, the rims restored, the brakes revised, etc., everything was done to preserve the originality.
The car is now fully functional and also has a signed car certificate from the manufacturer and driver EDDY COLANBEEN and an FCA Heritage certificate.
Feel free to ask us for more information, there are many photos available.
Best regards
