Description

A stunning show quality low mileage example of the late and desirable Series 4 Brooklands in SWB configuration. Nice specification from Rolls Royce includes Turbo R spec electric heated seats with lumbar support and 4 setting memory, electric steering column, rear parking sensors, cruise control, traction control, illuminated vanity mirrors to the rear, factory Alpine sound with 6 CD, air conditioning, trip computer, rear quarter B badges, Winged flying ‘B’ Mascot, hand painted original fine coach lines, body coloured radiator shell, lamb’s wool over rugs and Avon Turbospeed CR228 factory spec tyres fitted all around with deep tread. A superb and comprehensive service history contained in a large Bentley A4 Ring Binder accompanies this special car along with the original leather bound book pack, comprehensive Tool Kit complete with white service gloves! The service history comprises of 17 service stamps, predominately main dealer and specialist latterly, with quality invoicing retained in the vast history file. Post purchase inspection by renowned Starmans of Nottingham Rolls Royce & Bentley Specialists December 22 with an outstanding condition conclusion. Last service and inspection carried out July 2023 at 32, 382 miles by Starmans of Nottingham Rolls Royce & Bentley Specialists with oils, filters etc replaced as per the 50 detailed itemised service actions from the Bentley Service Schedule. Further preventative service replacement by Starmans of all the engine drive belts with Bentley originals undertaken instead of adjusting the old belts. The Brooklands has been serviced at 1, 5, 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 29, 31, 32, 382 miles The car has now covered 34, 120 miles, with light use continuing subject to fine weather. This car has always been garaged and not used on winter roads. The underneath of the car has been regularly rust proofed with wax itemised on the service history and during my ownership has been comprehensively coated underneath with ‘Lanogaurd’ wax. NOT thick old fashioned underseal! This Bentley remained under the same family ownership until 2015. Detailed invoicing and previous MOT certificates are retained, running right back to the beginning, 1997 for service invoicing, and 1999 for the initial MOT. Supplied by Hadley Green Garage in May 1996, with a copy of the original factory order sheet placed in the history file. The coachwork simply glistens and the Connolly Hide interior aroma is retained in abundance contrasting the immaculate woodwork and chrome fitments. To see how the car presents and sits on the road will inform an experienced eye in seconds this example is right up there with the best left. I purchased this Bentley Brooklands from Bentley Specialist Derek C Mowat from Edinburgh on 28/ 11/ 22 to satisfy my ambition to own one of the last true hand built Bentleys in as close to new condition I could find. A classic car enthusiast and prolific owner of many classics over the years this Bentley has not disappointed. I paid Derek £25, 950 for the Bentley (sales invoice available, nothing to hide) and have pampered it in my ownership, spending circa £1, 800. I have priced the Bentley, I feel realistically at £22, 000 but willing to discuss? It is now time after 2 years to look for my next dream car! The car on my list to own is an Aston Martin with the V12 Engine! I welcome serious prospective purchases/ enthusiasts to view the Bentley. I am a genuine private seller/ owner and the Bentley is here in my garage at my home. A stunning show quality low mileage example of the late and desirable Series 4 Brooklands in SWB configuration.
