This is one the most Special Volkswagen's to come up for sale in recent times , a 1962 VW Beetle in Pearl White with only 4700 miles. This particular Beetle was ordered New from Wolfsburg in 1962 for an American family living at the time in Northern Italy, However due to a change of plans, it sat in the dealership in storage for nearly 60 years after initial delivery from Germany. A few years ago, it was acquired by the 2nd owner who refreshed and detailed the car meticulously, replacing only what was necessary with period correct items, with a eye on preservation for the future. In one of the best colours combinations for the 1960's VW Beetle , Pearl White with Real Red interior it presents almost flawlessly, as close to a work of Automotive Art as you can imagine. In our experience, we can only say that this is as close to owning, and driving , a new beetle, as is possible today. The photos do not do this car justice , its so much better in reality!.
