New stator, starter motor, CDI unit, reg rectifier (now hard wired). coils and plugs.
There is a oil leak at the rear base gasket, noticeable after a long run, which will need attention at some point in the future. The best handling Harley ever made! the upgraded brakes and suspension further enhance the already legendary handling package of the bike, and was a complete revelation after the sportster owned previously. A Harley that you can swing through the bends!
Mikuni flatside carb really comes on song when you open the throttle. Great acceleration up to the speed limit where it gets into a lovely long legged lope, with plenty more power to give should the situation arise.
Bike has been dry stored and only fed premium fuel in my ownership. An electric gremlin lead to all the major components being replaced and set up by V Twin Performance in Rye.
Unfortunately due to fatherhood I don't have the time to get out on it. I'm sure I will regret selling it as Harley will never make a frame like the FXR's ever again, but its time for someone else to experience the pinnacle of Harley handling.
