Triumph Acclaim HLS 1984.
A very good original and ready to go example of the Triumph Acclaim. As an Acclaim enthusiast I have done plenty of work to this car to make it as reliable as possible. I have saved 14 Acclaims and this one is up there with the best I have worked on. Has not needed very much welding at all in its life and is very solid in all the right places. It runs and drives superb and has just had a new MOT. There were two advisories, the rear tyres (which look fine to me and the front two are new) and slight play in a ball joint which has now been sorted. It was officially MOT exempt, and next April it also becomes TAX exempt. The interior is (in my opinion) one of the best for the Acclaim, and as a bonus it smells just like an Acclaim should inside too! New water pump and battery amongst other things, and does not overheat. Working original cassette radio and even a working rear windscreen demister, which is very rare on Acclaims. Very good heater ……Needed at the moment! All new fluids so no worries for at least a year until annual oil change. Could confidently be used as a daily driver and would take you anywhere. Any inspection would be welcome and advised. For a 40 year old car it doesn’t get much better for this kind of money.
