Welcome to the advert for my Rover 12, she is a 1947 model.
We have owned her for a year and when we purchased her she wasn't running. also didn't have the original front drivers seat in.
Since owning it we have got her running and put the original drivers seat back in. We also got the lights working. We have done a few jobs on her to tidy her up though she isn't perfect she is respectable for nearly 80 years old.
We fitted an electric fuel pump on her as the mechanical one was leaking. It is still present if the new owner wants to get it repaired to be more original.
There is a crack on the windscreen though I have been looking for a replacement I haven't found yet. I also noticed the steering when moving slowly is harder to turn to the right than the left. Still usable to me though. I have added a more modern switch panel into the car under the dash too. The Speedo hasn't worked since I got it but I just used a GPS Speedo when out and about on my phone so didn't bother me.
We have taken the Rover to numerous car shows through the year and have enjoyed owning it. People always have a positive reaction when they come over to talk about it at the shows too.
I have decided to sell the car I wish to get a motorbike and don't want to have to many hobbies sitting around. I took her on as a project and have used it while improving it. I hope the new owner will continue to improve har and definitely continue to use her for shows.
