Description
This is an original, non-restored and fabulous condition Yamaha TT500, 1979. The bike was imported from California and purchased by me in 2010. It was first registered in August 2010 and supplied with a UK Registration of DUJ143T. It was inspected and MOT’d each year from 2010-2017, when it was transferred onto an Historic V5. The bike was brought over to France in 2020, independently checked by FFVE, Federation Francaise de Vehicules D’epoque and classified as a Vehicule Collection. The bike is now located, registered and insured in France. The bike is in excellent original condition, showing very little sign of use, although it does carry a few dings and bumps from its 45 years of use and garage storage. The bike has not been restored, to keep the patina of age and use. The only concession was a new seat cover, new chain and sprockets and the original exhaust was ceramic coated. The bike starts and runs perfectly and is a pleasure to ride. It took me many years to find the right bike. This colour, model with the aluminium swing arm, year of manufacture and an original non-restored bike was what I wanted in the bike.
