Magnificent Maserati 4200 GT Cambiocorsa with beautiful colour combination, excellent condition, ready to drive, 85, 200 km The Maserati 4200 GT is a luxury Grand Touring coupé produced by the Italian manufacturer Maserati from 2002 to 2007.
Designed by the famous car designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, this model is an evolution of the Maserati 3200 GT from both an aesthetic and a mechanical point of view.
However, it differs markedly from the 3200 GT in its transaxle architecture, in which the gearbox is attached to the rear axle.
This architecture is used extensively by Ferrari, which has taken control of the Modena-based manufacturer and therefore oversees model development. Its 390bhp naturally-aspirated 4. 2L engine generates one of the most beautiful V8 sounds!
It inherits the Ferrari F136 dry sump engine, which would later be found in the Ferrari F430, as well as the Ferrari F1 gearbox, here christened Cambiocorsa. A technical inspection was carried out on 24. 01. 2024 and approved, with checks on the brakes, lights, pollution and other compulsory elements.
No negative observations were noted. Bodywork: As you can see from the photos, the paintwork is in excellent condition, with no dents or damage.
The paintwork is very clean and shiny. The chassis is also clean, with no rust or damage. There are a few small scratches in two places, the front right wheel arch and the rear left wheel arch.
These scratches have been treated and are hardly visible. The chrome and seals are all in very good condition. Mechanicals: It starts without a problem, gear changes are automatic or via the F1 paddles, and the brakes are very effective. There are no problems with this Maserati.
On 15. 02. 2024, an OBD check was carried out (see photo) and no error codes were detected. Sometimes the lambda sensor light comes on, then goes off again. The rims are Skyhook (Maserati option) in very good condition, fitted with Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres, with light wear of around 30% according to the seller. Interior: Fitted with Savane leather trim, this is in very good condition.
The seats are closed, as they should be, with no tears.
The radio, CD changer and on-board computer all work.
The seats are electrically heated.
The roof lining is in very good condition.
