Brought over from Cyprus a few years ago. Fully uk registered and road legal. This car has the very rare factory fitted original column change four speed manual transmission with the bench front seat set up. It has an amazing patina that only age can produce and the estate versions of the MK2 are becoming very rare. It has what is possibly mostly original paint other than o/ s front wing and a few other areas. The car is very straight , the doors shut beautifully and the strut tops, wings and sills are all original as is probably everything else. It even has the original paint on the floor pans and engine bay which is just incredible. It is currently completely un-welded but does now need work in and around the front jacking points and chassis area, bottom of n/ s front wing and underside of bonnet etc. Otherwise its pretty much super solid and original virtually everywhere. It is currently running a 1300 engine but i have the original 1600hc engine with matching numbers making it the factory fitted unit. The car runs and drives really well and the gearbox and back axle are also superb and quiet. Plenty of work still needed especially on the interior but If your after a rare very original running/ driving project you wont be disappointed.
