History was made with a handful of cars throughout in an industry benchmark.
THE E30 M3, WAS ONE OF THEM.
Except, the BMW M3 didn't start that way.
The M3 was a product of motorsport regulations, Group A specifically. The head honchos in Bavaria wanted to take to the track to prove their might against Mercedes and Ford.
And prove their might they did, globally.
Beating out Cosworth-powered Mercedes and Ford's at everywhere from Bathurst to Brands Hatch, over 1, 400 wins.
Part of the Group A regulations required BMW to build 5, 000 road-legal M3s.
This example was supplied new by BMW Chandlers in July of 1987.
The paintwork itself is in good condition and has had thousands spent on it over the years.
The seats are in great shape, and offer plenty of support, the most impressive part of the interior is that the dash remains free from cracks, something that is increasingly difficult to find in E30s.
Under the bonnet
2. 3-litre S14 inline-four-cylinder mated to dog-leg 5-speed manual transmission. As a M3 EVO 2. 3-litre car, it produces 217 BHP, which makes it different to an ordinary e30 m3
It's fed by individual throttle bodies which make for a truly intoxicating driving experience.
The engine bay is clean, tidy and free from any rust.
The paper work with the car is over 200 pages plus, books, receipts and magazines.
from nuts and bolts to engine build and shell build.
car has had full new wiring loom and the original dash crack free.
Along Side has the genuine spec sheet of release with all the extra's added on the time.

in 2013 Croshills sports and classic gave this car a mini restore that it needed at the time spending ££££'s again
Then in to MUNICH LEGENDS AGAIN in 21-12-2020. 95k miles Munich rebuild all engine acc pipes bolts tensioners oil pistons Amy Rust, new seat frames and brackets as well as floor pan repairs.
At the same time it had all rubbers, bolts and pipes relopqced as well as nuts screws.
