Description
Original UK CB750 K2, Candy Gold, Scottish Dealer Supplied, Chatham Honda in Abbeyhill, Edinburgh.
This is the sale of my CB750, sold by my family in 73, and is in excellent unmolested condition.
The carbs has been sonically cleaned, new tyres put back on and it's been kept in a dry garage for decades.
Brand new battery and is in very good original condition.
It qualifies for historic tax now, and will be MOT exempt.
Currently sorn'd. It's a very rare example of a UK bike which has been in the original selling dealers family for a large part of it's life and has a low number of owners therefore. It has great patina and is a usable classic, it's been well looked after and has not been restored, giving it a unique stunning appearance.
It has the genuine Honda exhausts in good condition, the only change from factory I believe is the rear springs which have been upgraded early in it's life for a sporty period spring.
Engine number and frame number verify it's a K2, and also are close in number as they should.
The frame has original stickers on, as does the fuel tank and rear mudgaurd.
The clitch lever have the original plastic cover on, and the seat cover is original and in good condition.
I've owned it for quite a while and in it's time I've done brakes, sonic cleaned the carbs more than once, replaced the battery, tyres and oil.
Overall it's a lovely bike, very eye catching and being a UK bike well sought after.
It could do with a fresh tank of fuel and annual fettling, having been stored dry in a nice garage here, and would make an excellent Distinguished Gentleman's Ride bike.
I've not ridden it recently so it would benefit from an owner who will use it.
