Description
A fine example of the rare Long Wheel Base version of Jaguar's excellent 'executive car' - possibly an incorrect categorisation since the car has the ride quality and 'feel' of a limousine.
The car comes with comprehensive service history from North Wales Jag Centre (Llandudno) - from whom I bought the car in August 2020.
Including myself, the car has had 4 owners.
It has an MOT (with no advisories) until 29/ 07/ 2025.
It was serviced at North Wales Jag Centre on 08/ 01/ 2025 - and has had the cam belt and water pump replaced by them on 16/ 01/ 2025 (these are service items for the 105, 000 miles service). The car is now ready for another 105, 000 miles.
Extremely comfortable, the car has sat nav, CD player in the saloon
and multi CD cartridge in the boot, many speakers, leather heated seats, Bluetooth, air conditioning, memory front seats, rain sensing wipers, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors.
Whilst the car has not been used for towing, it has a retractable tow ball that is in pristine condition. I bought this car because I have owned 3 previous Jaguar XJ models over the years - and love their combination of grace and performance. This was my first diesel model and I was amazed at the fact that Jaguar had retained the marque's qualities and added to it an amazingly low rate of fuel consumption for such a large car. Various sources quote average figures around 35mpg and I frequently travel to my daughter's home in Halifax and achieve over 40mpg. When I first acquired the car I made that trip on a controlled run (easy acceleration and braking and fastidious observance of speed limits (naturally)) - and achieved 47mpg for the journey there and back.
Most of all the car impresses with its ride quality - it is an absolute pleasure to drive.
