Bodywork and other restoration work carried out across 2023-24 by marque specialists.

• Outer sills badly corroded and hidden by chrome sill covers, both sides.
• Outer sills completely replaced with new and inner sills weld repaired on both sides.
• Rust protection applied
• Numerous small patches of rust removed from underside and repaired
• Rust protection textured coating applied to whole of underside
• Bonnet inner frame bonding has failed causing the bonnet to become loose and caused a fowl at the front
edge
• Bonnet removed, frame corrected and re-bonded to provide clearance.
• Re-paint front end of car to scuttle area where micro blistering was evident
• Remove sunroof as not operating smoothly to find extensive rust, carried out complete repair, seal and refit.
• Rust protection applied to roof area behind and around sunroof frame
•Full re-spray.
• Remove all floor coverings and apply rust protective paint to whole inner floor area
• New high quality carpet set made and fitted including bottoms of doors
• Upholstery repairs to front and rear seats
• Fit new headlining
• Full rebuild of interior and exterior trim, replacing seals, lenses and gaskets as deemed necessary
Engine:
• Empty & clean out fuel system
• Remove air filter boxes, inlet manifolds and injector system for clean out
• Rocker cover gaskets leaking, removed and replaced
• Replaced fuel hoses
• Remove & replace thermostat, water pump gasket
• Remove & replace crank shaft oil seal (leaking)
• Remove & replace 2 x fan pulley bearings (worn)
• Aqua blast filter housings, manifolds and rocker gaskets, powder coated silver (Air filter housings were later
re-blasted, filled with high temp Novol filler and painted with high temp paint for a better appearance)
• Remove faulty fuel pump and replace
• Fit new iridium spark plugs
• Degrease, aqua blast & paint/ polish various engine components prior to reassembly with new gaskets
• Check fluids, and run up engine
• Removed radiator (leaking), taken for refurbishment and refit
Mechanical:
• Removal of diff/ rear brake assembly (rear brakes partly seized)
• Degrease & aqua blast all components
• Refurbish rear brakes: stainless steel pistons, seals, pads (including handbrake) & paint
• Remove and replace front diff seal (leaking)
• Repaint diff and refit
• Track rod ends removed and replaced (worn)
