Purchased in Germany in 2017 from RD Classics, with German TuV certificate. New original Ford gearbox arrived from the USA. Replaced drum brakes with original Ford disc brakes which were only optional on new at the time.
Restored a proper street trim after being prepared for the quarter mile.

Sold due to serious health condition. Same colour and almost same model as the legendary "Eleanor" that appears in the 1974 film "Out in 60 seconds", which contains 47 minutes of continuous chase, which is the record in film history still unbeaten. The original used one is kept at the Petersen Museum of Automotive in Los Angeles and I personally saw it in 2016. One of the last models to still have the 357 windsor/ cleveland small block. from May 1972 the engine was reduced to the 302 BOSS.
