Only 12, 055 of these elegant I6-powered sports cars were built, divided into three different body styles. They quickly proved to be not only outstanding summer sports cars, but also exceptional racing drivers, and continue the tradition of being one of the most highly regarded cars Jaguar has ever built. This flawless example was originally supplied to the United States, but it was in its later life in Europe that it acquired special significance. In 2009, the car arrived in Italy for the first time and, after impressive restoration work, completed the Mille Miglia 2020.
