Description
A stunning example MG Midget 1275 G registration 1969.
The car has been the subject of a Heritage shell rebuild with a great deal of detail and expense at which point almost everything was replaced or reconditioned. The paintwork remains beautiful to date and the body is also perfect . The shell is body coloured underneath with a nice coat of clear wax oil as well as all the cavities. We last sold this car 5 years ago to a long established customer and friend who has now traded up to an MGB roadster with us. In that time he has done very few miles but has highly maintained the car at great expense including various upgrades and improvements including but not limited to: Type 9 Frontline 5 speed gearbox conversion , Hi Tq starter motor, new clutch, electronic ignition, new hoses, rear axle overhaul, new brakes, synthetic fluid, engine checked and new gaskets etc. Whilst the engine was out the engine bay was cleaned and detailed along with the engine re enameled and much more. The car sits on chrome wire wheels and starts and runs beautifully with perfect oil pressure. The interior is tan and excellent along with a contrasting black hood which again is perfect. We have a history file for the car along with many invoices and a heritage certificate. To build a car like this now would easily cost well in excess of 25k . This is only a very brief outline of the car and viewing is highly recommended to fully appreciate. I can assist with delivery and would consider another classic car in part exchange.
