Here we have an original unmolested right-hand Datsun 260Z with just 8, 800 miles on the clock. A genuine honest car that is a real tribute to the 1970s. This 260z has just has just had a fresh MOT and passed with no advisories. The car has been with Fourways Engineering for multiple jobs including a 2 hour inspection and a full service as well as a full fluid change. Multiple bushings got replaced as they had perished due to age.
The 260z is in its original and stunning bronze, which for its age looks incredible. The interiors condition is really something to be seen, still having that plush carpet and the half fabric seats still in amazing condition. The car has been dry stored for most of its life.
This car went to Fourways Engineering back in 2016 for a full refresh and check over. Some of the jobs carried out were the original SU carbs being rebuilt and Fourways fitting their own exhaust from manifold back. There are invoices to support all this work that was carried out.
The L26 2. 6litre engine is still in great shape and has had multiple test drives at Fourways Engineering making sure its up to standard. The engine itself has been left with all the original components and this has been the intentions with the car, to leave it as original as possible unless the absolute necessary has been to change something.
