Rare - only 2 VTiS Aerodecks left registered (howmanyleft Q2 '24).
Rare even when new - max total of 95 registered in 2001 (howmany left).
Rare chance to buy one of these - hardly ever come up for sale !
Believed UK market only, limited edition version of VTi. Built in Swindon, UK. Not a JDM import.
Un-modified. Only very few non-original or missing features.
Just under 108k miles.

3 owners incl. myself. Owned for 4+ yrs. First owner - Honda UK, 2nd owner 19 yrs.
Extensive full service history.
MOT to Nov 2025 (no advisories).
Interesting plate included in sale.
Car is very presentable but not perfect.
Some paint rectification could improve it. Very light pitting to chrome trim. Some wear to boot carpet. A/ C needs re-gas.
Still one of the best examples you will find (if another VTiS Aerodeck comes up for sale any time soon ?!).
Usual VTiS features - original B18C4 engine (1. 8 VTEC dohc, rated at 169hp) with S9B gearbox and LSD.

This car has carbon trim on the dash and centre console (and it's not a wrap). Believed original.
BTW, Blacked out rear quarter glass is standard on all Aerodecks, it is not a later tint.
Original full size spare wheel (steel) fitted with original Bridgestone tyre (looks unused). Inside spare wheel is original moulded foam holder for jack, wheelbrace and sunroof tool (all there, and comprises the complete toolkit according to Honda parts catalogue).
Still has original supplying Honda dealer number plates.
Driver's floormat has the original embroidered VTI-S logo.
3 keys incl. red master key.

New tyres in 2023 after MOT advisory in 2022, Toyo TR1 (new tread pattern, not T1R) all round.
In 2023, replacement headlining fitted, matching original colour but original texture not available so chose alcantara-style.
Genuine Honda exhaust backbox fitted with stainless tailpipe finisher, installed 2023.
New battery (3 yr warranty) fitted Nov '22.
Original foglights (Carello) were removed as alloy casings corroded (common problem).
As NLA, replaced last year with generic units which are very close in appearance to original units.
Brake calipers have been painted Cadbury Purple (heat resistant paint) to match the purple fleck in the Pirates Black paint, but could easily be returned to original silver colour.
Engine rocker cover painted VHT gloss black, original should be wrinkle black.
Exhaust manifold heatshield was missing when I got the car. Haven't replaced it as like the look of the exposed 4-branch manifold.
Plastic engine undertray is missing. Didn't replace as makes servicing/ repairs easier.
First owner - Honda Europe Ltd., London for 11 months (V5). Service book warranty page stamped by Honda Bristol.
However, car was sold to first private owner by Lancaster Honda, Morecambe.
First private owner had it from Aug 2000 to (approx) 2019 (19 yrs).
Registered in my name in June 2020.
First private owner always had the car serviced at the same Honda main dealer (Lancaster Honda) for 17 yrs (16 stamps). Included cambelt change at 55k (2008). Last Honda service was at 89k in late 2017. Appears that at the same time as services, owner also had the car MOT'd at the same Honda dealer (evidence from '06 onwards MOT history at least, so probably from when they first acquired it ?).
In my ownership, car has had a further 4 services including the initial major service (only 4750 mile gap after last Honda service) and general refurb when I first acquired it. Initial major service (incl cambelt change) and refurb was performed over a period around 94k in early 2020.
Latest service was in Jan '24 @ 106, 814 miles.
Car has had 4 oil services in last 14k miles. Prior to putting the car on the road in my name, inspected the car and found a number of features in poor condition or missing (headlight washers, boot load cover, rear side decals...) and realised that the car was getting a little tired in certain areas. So spent a few months sourcing and fitting those items and performing a major service and mechanical refurb including :-
Cambelt kit (genuine Honda)
Cambelt tensioner (Koyo)
Waterpump
Spark plugs (NGK original spec)
Spark plug tube seals
VTEC solenoid gasket filters, upper and lower (genuine Honda), VTEC activation tested
Valve clearances adjusted
Rocker cover gaskets (3 over time), latest one genuine Honda, no leaks.
Sump gasket
Sump drain plug and gasket
Oil filter (genuine Honda) + later changes
Air filter
All auxiliary drivebelts
Gearbox fluid drain and refill (genuine Honda fluid)
Engine mounts, left and right, lower
Driveshafts, incl inner and outer CV joints, L&R
Clutch master and slave cylinders
Clutch fluid drain, refill and bleed (fluid from existing stock)
Rear brake discs and pads
Rear calipers rebuild kit
Front calipers rebuild kit
Brake fluid flush and change (fluid already in stock)
Coolant thermostat (OE quality, original spec)
Coolant drain, flush and refill (genuine Honda coolant)
Radiator fan switch
Left front upper suspension arm incl balljoint
Lower balljoints (L&R), front suspension
Drop links (L&R) front suspension
Power steering drain and refill (with genuine Honda fluid)
Cabin filter (and recent change)
Bosch wipers all round (changed again this year)
Heater blower motor resistor (works on all speeds)
Replacement retractable load cover
Original style VTEC dohc stickers for rear doors (and correct placement)
Windscreen replaced
Included will be a stack of invoices for majority of parts, fluids and service items over the last 4+ yrs. Most invoices are marked with date and mileage of fitment.
If you are doing HPI check on the car, it may come up with a mileage discrepancy for 6 December 2012.
This is from the mileages on the MOT history. On the first test on that date, the MOT tester made an obvious typo on the mileage, reversing the digits from the correct 74, 298 to 47, 298. Later the same day on the retest (at the same Honda dealer MOT station), the mileage was entered correctly as 74, 298 miles. This mileage also ties in to other mileages before and after this date.
Otherwise, this car is HPI clear.
From the MOT history you will notice there was a failure on 20 Nov '18 for corrosion in the rear seatbelt and rear suspension (rear trailing arms) mounting areas. The next day, the car passed it's MOT. Both the failure and the retest occurred at the same Honda dealer (you can find test location if you have V5). As the welding rectification happened inside 1 day and the mileage hadn't changed between the failure and retest, I think it fair to assume that the welding repairs were done by the Honda dealer and (possibly) because it was completed quickly, the work was not extensive.
When I acquired the car, I checked these welded areas and found they had been re-undersealed at the time of the repairs (the rest of the underside had already been undersealed previously). Since then, the underseal has been checked regularly and touched-up where necessary.
Since the car passed its MOT after the welding repairs, over the last 4 yrs + it has not even had an MOT advisory for underside corrosion.
Latest MOT has no advisories.
Thanks for looking ! (and getting this far on the lengthy description...)
