This is my 1989 Toyota MR2 1st generation.
Truly a rare car to find especially one that’s had the modification this one has.
The previous owner has completed some major restoration work such as replacing the rear arches/ pockets, suspension and cooling system refurbished.
The car underwent an engine conversion earlier in the year by the previous owner, it is now running a 2zz-ge from a Celica Tsport. The 2zz-ge utilises a dual camshaft profile system (the "L" in VVTL-i, known by enthusiasts and engineers alike as "lift" similar to Honda's VTEC) to produce the added power without an increase in displacement or forced induction.
Shell had 96k miles
Engine was stripped and rebuilt with all genuine Toyota parts inc piston rings, timing chain, bearings etc

(Recently stripped and inspected by specialist)
The car was resprayed in 2k paint, it is very presentable but as expected has some flaws up close, this has never bother me as it is a 35 year old car
