1932 Vauxhall T80 7 seater limo in need of full restoration for sale. This was apparently the first T80 made (chassis no 1701). The vehicle is absolutely solid and we think that there are at least 90% of the parts required to complete the vehicle. The front and back wings are solid and the ash frame is dry and in good condition considering its age. The vehicle has been in dry storage since my father purchased it (evidenced by the cobwebs in the roof spars). There are no bashes on the aluminuim body and the engine turns over by one hand. Underneath it is very solid and dry. The front kingpins were remanufactured a number of years ago. TThis would make a fantastic restoration project for someone and due to the fact that it does roll and is such a solid vehicle I do not think it would be that difficult. The registration number is transferrable and is worth approx £5k. Although registered in 1936 its early life was apparently owned by Sir Michael Nairn and was used for carrying people around a shooting estate near Blairgowrie, Scotland (see sales tab on dashboard). Later registered in 1936 and then apparently later rebodied as an ambulance and then a hearse. This was quite common back in the day. My father puchased it as a hearse in 1971 and had it professionally converted back to the original Gorsvenor body. This is a unique piece of motoring history being one of the last Vauxhalls ever made before being taken over by GM.
