Engine, gearbox and transfer box original, matching numbers and heritage certificate.
The body is totally original in dove grey, all galvanised cappings original. Original lights and glass.
Tyres 80% life remaining, they are not original and are 700x16 radial road tyres.
The toolkit is the one which was in the vehicle when I bought it and seems original, as is the owners operating manual, and the yellow salesman`s manual.
Free wheel hubs and interior and bonnet spare wheel mounting points.
Tropical roof, vents original and operational. Original interior light.
Windscreen wiper motors (two) original and working. Dashboard original and unmolested. Factory indicators.
Upholstery - seats and door panels - in as new condition.
Rust free chassis and undercarriage.
A couple of minor oil leaks from the gearbox selector rail seals and the selector rail detent spring holders.
Very little work required to bring this vehicle to concours. 1957 88 inch UK built Station Wagon. Exported by the factory in 1957 to the then South African Distributor Robb Motors in Cape Town and sold new by them in late 1957. This information is supported by the Heritage Certificate.
Three owners - I am the third and have owned it for 35 years. The previous owner is known to me, and the deceased 1st owner was a local garage proprioter who was also know to me. Garaged and maintained throughout.
There is only recent maintenance history.
The vehicle is accident free.
Sympathetic restoration completed three years ago with meticulous attention to maintaining originality, pictorial record available.
