History:
The construction and design of the Kompressor cars were clearly influenced by the imminent construction of the national motorways (Autobahn) in the early 1930s.
The new cars in the current top class had to be drive-able and at the same time sporty touring cars that made high average speeds possible on long distances.
The Mercedes Benz 540K Autobahn Kurier offered here was sold as a 2-door Limousine to Edmund Ritter in July 1936.
Edmund Ritter was a leading engineer at Dynamit Nobel.
After a complete restoration by renowned Kompressor specialists, the car was built up identically to the original as an Autobahn Kurier, with an eye for the smallest detail and highest quality.
