Welcome to the sale of my 1950 David Brown Cropmaster Tractor – Petrol/ TVO
Rescued from a field in the summer of 2014, this tractor has undergone a ‘no expense spared’ full nut and bolt restoration including both the body and all mechanicals.
The restoration included –
Complete engine rebuild with new bearings, pistons, liners, hardened valve seats and new valves.
Magneto reworked and gear driven dynamo rewound and converted to charge 12 volts.
New tyres
Full bare metal re paint
Back axle reworked with new seals and brakes.
New fuel tank made by Franks Tanks
All new electrics
Electric start (no need to use the handle – the handle is available)
The restoration was photographed at each stage and is documented with over 250 photographs chronologically displayed in an album.
The tractor, originally registered in Norfolk has its original registration number with both old logbook and new V5C present.
This model is the later and more desirable 6 speed (high and low gearbox)
Drives spot on and all hydraulics work great.
Perfect for road runs as it has 2 seats!
Currently on display in a showroom for customers to enjoy.
A Cropmaster in this condition is now very rare.
