3. 5L Rover V8 4 speed manual.
Grey with black hood.
Defender seats fitted in the front, fold down benches in the back.
This vehicle has just undergone a light reconditioning after a couple of years in storage:
New items include:
- Refurbished SU carbs
- Distributor
- Viper ignition coil
- HT leads
- Fuel tank
- Fuel lines and filter.
- New rear crossmember
- Canvas hood.
- Wolf wheels.
- Oil and filter change.
The previous owners had the engine refreshed during his ownership, this included the following:
- Head gaskets
- Piston rings
- Timing chain
- Water pump
- Skimmed heads
- Valve stem seals.
As you can see this Landy has been well maintained and is in very good order.
It starts well and runs smoothly with loads of power.
It has high ratio Range Rover classic differentials fitted so cruises at speed.
Brand new black canvas roof and set of new black wolf wheels, tyres all matching and like new.
Need to be seen and heard! Sounds savage with a custom exhaust.
Heater works great as do all the lights, gauges etc. Servo assist brakes, stops as it should.
