Description
Midnight blue, silver lobster wheels, grey interior, embossed seats, Bose speakers, CD changer, sat nav. Yokohama tyres all round, air conditioning runs super cold, hard-backed, part-electric seats and Alcantara roof lining.
As my family grows, unfortunately, a 19yr old car with small backseats becomes hard to hold onto. You'll notice the car seat in the back, this has worked a charm behind the passenger seat but unfortunately doesn't allow for someone to easily fit in the passenger seat. This car has been such a joy to own and I'll be very disappointed to see it go. The paintwork shows slight signs of its age, the wheels are perfect, however. The interior also holds up well for being nearly 20 years old, with everything working. It drives brilliantly and previous owners have obviously been as diligent with the maintenance as I have.
2 keys, complete toolkit in front boot, full service history from Porsche or Porsche specialists (AMG cars, Ballyclare since the car's been in NI). No signs of bore scoring, buyers welcome to have scoping test completed at own expense
I'm led to believe it's a late 2005 model and as such the IMS bearing issue of 996s and early 997. 1s is not relevant. Diagnostic tool included - useful if you wish to do some maintenance yourself, or check you're not being ripped off ahead of sending to the shop. Used once for a cylinder 1 misfire, new coil pack fitted by AMG cars.
What it doesn't have - no rear wiper, no sports chrono, no cruise control and no steering wheel buttons. I've driven a 997. 2 with sports chrono (it was an auto not manual so not a perfect test) and don't miss it with this car. I've fitted a Bluetooth kit (easily removed without any soldering etc. it's plug-and-play) and it is also wired to have a rear and front facing dashcam. Next MOT due 23/ 05/ 2023, Blue, 5+ owners
