2014 Mercedes GL63 AMG 5. 5 V8 BI TURBO (7 SEATER)
I have owned this amazing car for just over 12 months and have covered approximately 13, 000 trouble free miles in it. I have an itch for a new car hence the sale.
The car is recorded as a Cat N (non structural) but has evidently been repaired to a very high standard as there are no signs of damage. I bought it like this and have driven it up and down the country with my wife and kids and haven't had a single issue during my ownership.
It has now covered just under 120, 000 miles (it may rise as it is used everyday) and has Mercedes main dealer service history up 2018 and then private garages thereafter. There are 8 services in total averaging 1 roughly every 15, 000 miles. It has been very well cared for throughout it's life. The next service is just an oil change and is due in around 2 months. I have purchased the parts already and if the car sells before then, I will include the parts. If it doesn't, I will get it serviced when it's due. It has recently had it's MOT carried out and as expected passed without a single advisory.
When I purchased the car in 2023, having a bit of OCD, I had the garage carry out a major service including Engine Oil, Oil filter, Air Filters, Spark Plugs (indexed correctly), Cabin Filters, Pollen Filter and Gearbox Service Kit (filters/ seals and Gearbox Oil). All genuine Mercedes parts were used. I also had brand new Brembo performance discs and pads fitted. I essentially had all the serviceable parts replaced for peace of mind. Paperwork for all of this work is present.
The engine, gearbox, brakes and suspension are all in perfect working order.
Tyres are matching Continental Cross Contact UHP.
Alloy wheels are in excellent condition and look great.
For a 10 year old car that is used as an everyday family car the bodywork is very good as seen in the photos but will obviously has the odd minor blemish here and there.
Privacy glass all round and lowered slightly on adjustable drop links (can be reverted to stock height by anyone - original links included).
Upgraded Osram Xenarc bulbs.
All electrics (including keyless entry/ go, electric windows, sunroof, auto wipers/ lights, rear pop out windows, elec/ heated/ massage seats, 3rd row electric folding seats) work as they should. No warnings on dash etc. The only issue I am aware of is a front parking sensor not working. I always use the 360 camera so haven't got round to changing it yet.
A truly amazing family car that can be crazy if you want it to, mind-blowing performance for a car so big.
I think it's had a slight exhaust modification by the last owner as it sounds amazing when driven hard. Normal day to day driving is nice and quiet, no drone etc. I have 3 young children and have used it on the motorway a lot without any complaints.
I have priced this very fairly taking in to account the Cat N. I am a genuine private seller who loves cars and have taken good care of it. I feel £16, 995 is a very fair price considering the condition and recent work carried out in the last 12 months. The price is firm. In fact, a non AMG equivalent (same year/ mileage) is probably still around £15, 000! I'm also very confident the other ones advertised will probably have minor issues or need general maintenance work (e. g. brakes/ tyres/ service) which will set the new owner back a few thousand pounds very easily on a performance car like this. This car is ready to go and needs nothing.
The car is registered in my name and at my address (B28 Hall Green, Birmingham) and all paperwork is present.
The car has also had a GHOST immobiliser fitted which reduces insurance significantly and paperwork is present. It also has a front and rear dashcam hardwired. All included in the sale.
Test drive requires actual proof of insurance and 1 person can view the car at a time (no group viewings etc).
Cash deposited in to my bank or bank transfer as payment.
Private plate is not included.
Thule Roof bars can be included for an extra £150 (they are the best type and cost just under £400 new) and are very handy if you plan to do long trips with 7 people and use a roof box.
