Description
Lotus Elan Drop Head Coupe (Sprint Livery)
First registered 01 January 1966. Supplied with photo copies of all previous log books from DVLA and the heritage certificate from Lotus Cars to confirm provenance and MOT certificates going back forty years substantiating the mileage along with a massive service history file confirming the low mileage.
The car had a full body off rebuild in the nineties where a new superior Spider Chassis was fitted and the body restored/ renewed. The engine was rebuilt to sprint specification by Hart engineering. The interior is very nice, hood is in good order, but there is a brand-new hood in the box with the car. There is a nice Photographic record of the Scottish reliability tour in 2014 which the previous owner successfully completed.
I have owned the car for several years (part of my collection) an have decided its time for a change around. Offered for sale at £29950 (cheapest one on the market), I may consider a part exchange of something interesting. This is a good fun car, starts on the button and drives extremely well, I have too many cars and only use this one once this year. Please telephone me or a full description.
