Description
Guzzi Galletto, UK registered, runs but needs minor fettling to make roadworthy. The main wiring loom has been replaced, as well as a new exhaust sourced from Italy. It has the correct key but needs a battery.
Tax, MoT and Ulez exempt.
An interesting alternative to the Velocette LE, although superior in some respects (I have an LE as well).
The Galletto was known as the 'Priests' Bike' and was aimed at discerning buyers who wanted something better than a Vespa or Lambretta, with good handling and a 4 stroke engine. It features a single sided swingarm, long before Honda used one, and both wheels are the same, which allows a spare to be carried. I have the spare, which has a new tyre.
