1990 Audi 100, 2. 3 manual, perfect winter project car.
Mechanically the car is sound, the 2. 3 engine pulls well and smoothly. Suspension is good, the interior is complete and in very good condition. The body needs attention, the previous owner had rubbed down and primed some panels but I feel it could do with a proper respray. Colour matched spray cans are included in the sale. There are some rust spots around the windscreen but nothing major, the only notable bit of rust that will need attention is the rain gutter under the rear window as you can see from the photo. Every thing works as it should, the electrics all work, it has electric windows all round and a manual sunroof. The roof lining was redone prior to my ownership and will need to be done again as it wasn't a great job.
This car comes with a boot full of spares, some new parts such as new disks and pads, and good condition used parts. The car is complete, no parts missing. I don't want to break it for parts as I feel this car is too good and needs to have another shot at life, with the milage being so low this car is only getting going. It's completely original apart from the BBS replicas it sits on.
It has front fog lights and headlamp washers, velour interior and Audi duo sound. Overall a very solid car, runs well and a practical classic to own. I bought this as a running project a couple of years ago with the intention of doing it up, as a lot of people tend to do, but due to lack of time, other projects and now no indoor space to keep it I need to sell it.
I've not done a lot to it since getting it apart from a service and a few other small jobs. The car was running when I bought it, it still runs but needs a new fuel pump which I have and will install.
This is originally a UK car, the car is now located in Ireland. It was a fleet car for a company in London from new, and imported into Ireland in 1995. It was owned by the same gentleman who imported it until a few years after it went off the road which was around 2013. The original handbooks and wallet comes with the car as well as original AA and fleet cards. For UK buyers I understand it's very cheap to import back to the UK and put back on it's original plates.
