My Volvo V70 SE 170 2. 4 petrol automatic estate is for sale as I have recently retired and we really only need one car, so we have decided to sell both of our cars and upgrade with one, but newer car, and a small 1960/ 50, s car for me to tinker with.
When I was originally looking for a Volvo V70 I spent a very long time looking for the right one. Not only was I looking for a low mileage car in excellent condition, I wanted something that was properly serviced and ULEZ compliant (yes its ULEZ compliant!). I was delighted to find a very low mileage V70 fitted with some desirable and rare features. The features include, but not limited to, factory 7 seats, rear armrest with table, Volvo childrens booster seats, leather interior, heated seats and much more.
During my ownership this car has only been used as a local runaround, in fact, same as the last owner I have hardly used it and garaged it at all times. The last owner, so I am told was elderly, and in the last 5 years of his ownership he only covered 5000 miles. The MOT is valid until 24/ 11/ 2025 and passed with no advisories.
The mileage as of today is a very low 75, 244 miles, which is verified by the VOSA history and service history. The last service was carried out at 72, 000 miles. The service history is complete with 13 service stamps and many volvo service invoices. The paperwork includes a V5 in my name and address, MOT certificate, full owners manual/ book pack and 3 keys with two remotes.
Just two owners prior to me, both of which have taken the greatest care of this car.
The condition is fantastic throughout, the interior is perfectly clean with virtually no wear, the body/ paintwork is in lovely dent free condition with just the odd mark. During my ownership I have had no mechanical issues and she has been nothing but ultra reliable, I expect the new owner will continue to enjoy the same. The V70 of this era is considered to be collectible and as such will only increase in value. I will be sorry to see her go, but now looking forward to the running cost of one car and having a small classic car to fiddle with.
