Description
Dear Morgan enthusiast,
Just to let you know that I have two Aero 8's one of 2009 a Centenary Special Edition and the other of 2017. One must go. Or I'm in the market for a Morgan SuperSports with the removable targa tops. More images to follow...
I'm reluctantly prepared to part with my 2017 The top-of-the-range Morgan 'Flagship Model'.
This is an Aero 8 of AR (Aero Racing specification, meaning it has the distinctive logos on the car in various places as well as enamel badges on the sides). Morgan stitched winged logs on the seat headrests. Air conditioning and heated and adjustable sports seats.
Automatic with both gear and paddle shifts. Has an Alpine stereo system with Bluetooth and phone plug-in etc. It has a unique and superbly crafted Ash wooden stand produced at the Morgan factory to support the composite hardtop. The Burgundy red soft-top comes with its built-in tonneau. cover.
This particular car was used in an advertisement promoting up-graded suspension (which it has) on a leaflet-flyer, which shows my car with a part wrap (since removed). It was chosen (by the first owner) to be delivered in Ice Pearlescent Green with matching dash and a lush dark wood trim with a distinctive Burgundy red leather interior. A unique car as the handful of Series V's on the market today are either dark blue or silver.
I purchased the car via Duke of London from the first owner with an agreed price of £95, 000 (with interest as Duke had it up for sale at *£130, 000 originally). A unique car and one of the last of this flag-ship model off the line. It has the original factory build sheet together with a leather-bound photo build portfolio album (extra cost of £150). ALL service receipts and showing many thousands spent by the original owner with up-grades etc.
It is of course in fine near mint condition and was in for a paint refreshment last year when at the * Morgan factory for its health check. It was awarded The People's Choice at The Falmer Hall Classic Car Show in August 2024, then it was invited to be on display it at the very prestigious * Hampton Court Concours of Elegance that took place in September this year.

* The handful (the very few) on the market are priced well over £100, 000 (and most are in boring dark blue or greys). My car is sold without the badge bar or cherished registration. I would have liked to achieve over the £100, 000 as most are around this figure. However, to be realistic as its Wintertime and the market is a "Buyers' Market" right now as this cost about £140, 000 when new with the extras ordered as per the paperwork as it's so unique and distinctive.
I've been asking £95, 950 and most UK interest have come from Morgan owner's with Plus 8's to upgrade in px, which I'm not interested in. One dealer from Dubai is v. interested in a client over there, let's see.
The first owner who ordered the car from Williams Morgan, spent many thousands on up-grades and sensible accessories, all of which paperwork comes with the vehicle. I'm the second owner and it was a registered by him in Sussex.
A last of the line blue-chip investment vehicle to love, cherish and enjoy!
* This is the English equivalent of the American Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. My car stood out as the only Morgan chosen to be on display among the million-pound Ferraris, Massers' Rolls, Bentley's and Astons etc. Including (the then) Prince Charles Aston Martin DB6 Volante. My vehicle has ben entered into most Southern classic car events and shows. It was awarded The People's Choice at The Falmer Hall Classic Car Show in August 2024, then it was invited to be on display it at the very prestigious Hampton Court Concours of Elegance that took place in September this year.
