The paintwork is in good order having been garaged for almost every day of its life. It remains unrestored, has had minor cosmetic repairs in the past to keep the car presentable, safe and on the road. No accident damage.
Minor bubble on nearside rear arch and age-related marks to paintwork. Viewing is well advised to appreciate the unrestored originality of this car.
The interior is trimmed in its original Silver cloth with rear armrest, original carpets and mats. Some age-related wear to the bolsters carpets and mats. The photographs identify the small tares to the upholstery, but remember the car is 100% unrestored.
The engine bay is as original as any enthusiast would wish to see, with factory stickers and data plates, a protective wax covering and most importantly no rust.
This is possibly the most original example available to market. It has a genuine and respectable 114, 000 miles, which is verified by every single MOT inspection certificate from new, that was routinely conducted each year regardless of the limited mileage or use.
Recent works conducted this year include full oil and filter service. New front and rear brake discs, brake pads and sensors, and new suspension cross-links. An oil leak was reported on the most recent MOT. Initial inspection suggests it is coming from the front section of the cam cover area. The sunroof needs some operational attention, and at present, we cannot locate the radio code for the Blaupunkt radio which was activated when we replaced the battery.
