Regrettably for sale is my November 1995 Fiat Punto 1. 2 Mpi 75 elx, finished in stunning exploit yellow.
This car is my pride and joy, but I have had a one off opportunity to purchase my dream car (another Fiat) and due to lack of space, time and use, the Punto must go.
I have owned this car for 10 years, with myself being only the 3rd owner. In that time I have spent a fortune on the car, returning it to close to showroom condition using genuine Fiat parts where I can. (I have noted every single thing I have done to it, should the buyer wish to see).
It has been garaged all of its life, and according to how many left, is one of only 6 of this model left, so one of the rarer models in the Punto range. Being an ELX, it benefits from an electric tilt/ slide sunroof, front fog lamps, 6 speaker stereo, velour interior with read headrests and lumbar support, drivers airbag. It also has a nicer interior with centre console/ nicer door cards.
It also has a few rare extras, such as a leather Punto GT steering wheel in excellent condition, and a brand new old stock leather momo genuine Fiat gear knob and gaiter. The original parts will go with the car.
It also has a set of genuine NOS mudflaps and genuine Fiat mats that have always had over mats on top of them.
The spare wheel has never been on, the took kit etc is all present.
It is a head turner in this colour and condition and has won best in show at the Scottish Italian car day 2 years in a row.
There is no rust, the underbody and arches have been waxoyled and it rarely gets wet.
It has also been displayed in the Fiat showroom for promo work.
It has a choice of wheels, the standard 14” steel wheels with brand new old stock correct ELX trims, or 14” GT wheels, professionally powder coated, both with excellent good year tyres.
The car has been looked after in my care, by both a Fiat main dealer as I worked there, or a local Fiat/ Alfa specialist. I’ll put a fresh 12 months mot on it for the buyer. It has always been serviced with genuine Fiat parts, and have assorted spare parts to go with it.
It has 76, 600 miles on it, drives faultless with no knocks or bangs.
It anlso has the desirable 1242 multi point injection FIRE engine, which is healthy and Pulls well.
Everything works except the remote control part of then central locking.
The car has been painted at great expense by a Fiat approved body shop, from the windows down. It was in great condition when I got it, but I wanted it to be perfect, which it nearly is now.
It’s on Sorn just now as it is every winter, and in storage but message with any question. There is far too much to list but I’d be happy to discuss anything. I’ll also put a fresh 12 months MOT on it when sold.
The car is very well known in the Fiat world and I’d love it to go to a good home.
