fully restored Vw golf mk2 gti.
It started its life as a 16v gti and bought from me in 2008 with the plans of the final project you see that took place back in 2010.
It has undergone a full body respray .
Had no rust so no panels are repaired or replaced . Bodywork is mint as it should. Paintjob as well. Never had an accident in its life . it has 92. 000 kms as a chassis with paperwork to prove from the last mot. All the plastic trims are original and bought from heritage back in 2010 . Arches are original g60 bought new as well. All lights are hella bought new .
Windows are original except the windshield that is new .
A full TT interior is fitted with dashboard and TT seats . Custom door panels are made to accompany the dashboard sides, so the doors can close smoothly. center and mid consoles are fitted as well. Everything is working as it should . Heated seats work nicely , power windows as well. It has full working clima and the sunroof works perfectly. The battery is moved to the trunk with custom mount made there. B&M shortshifter is fitted as well . It has elser alarm system that works perfectly.
Underneath the car mk3 vr6 parts are used such as the front subframe and all critical parts of the suspension, tsi axles and rear vr6 subframe . It also has ultra racing front subframe 4 point braces installed and omp front and rear strutbraces . It sits on bilsteins b8s with eibach springs all around . Wheels are original Schmidt revolution 16x9 that will be fitted with brand new 205/ 45/ 16 prior to shipping.
Brakes are 312mm TT fronts . The hub is kept 4 stud for original look .
In the engine bay we will find a 20vt engine sourced from a 2003 TT that was bought as a parts car for the project and had 90000kms . Engine and transmission were fitted with full Wideband loom . it is fully scannable . It has a full k064 turbo setup with big injectors, ngk r8 coils and fuel pump to match . Aem wideband gauge and apexi avcr are there as well. . It is tuned by TT team a famous Vw tuner in Athens Greece. It runs perfectly as it should . It has custom exhaust , intercooler and pipes. The car was dynoed at 320 hp . It is serviced and maintained meticulously although is only a Sunday car . I have put around 4000kms since the project was finished .
No expenses were spared in the making .
The car has participated in car shows locally and got first places .
It’s a really fun car to drive and really fast .

It has a seam rip on the drivers seat as you see in the pics . The seat will be replaced before shipping as well.
It doesn’t have a windows washer bottle cause it was never fitted again after the rebuild to make room for the pipercross filter. It has never seen a rainy day after the rebuild so it wasn’t a big deal for me . If the buyer wants I could have one professionally installed prior to shipping .
