Don't be put off by this car's 13 previous owners because this 14th owner has lavished a lot of love to get this car back to near its former glory.
Car is currently MOT'ed until September 2025, i had very little history at purchase from a trade dealer, but i have substantially added to it in my ownership which is now in two folders.
Mechanically it is mostly new from steering to brakes and in between, also had a new windscreen fitted and complete exhaust system.
The bodywork is very clean and straight, some paint work has been done and will benefit from some in the future. The interior is in remarkably good condition too. Headlining was sagging as they do, but has been recovered.
This is a very usable, tidy, reliable classic which is now very unusual on our roads, i have enjoyed it running around locally mostly, but it can be used on long runs but the gearing i feel is more suited for B roads.
Apart from loving and cleaning this car to death regularly, this is what i have done in my ownership,
Full service twice.
Gearbox flush and fluid change.
Inner and outer drive shaft gaiters.
New battery.
2nd set of keys made.
Disc and pads all round.
Rear calipers and the 4 rear flexi pipes.
Complete exhaust system.
New wheels and tyres.
Power steering rack.
Power steering pump.
Front wheel bearing and various track rods and bushes.
Rear springs, pair.
New front dampers.
I've probably missed other stuff, but this for me was to keep it safe, reliable and preventative maintenance. Really lovely tidy old Saab, being the rare 4 door saloon, rather than a hatchback. Even though it's a saloon, the rear seat folds completely flat and makes for a large carrying load.
Wheels are aftermarket and my choice, these will stay with the car and the original steel set with the stainless steel hubcaps will be sold with the car.
Boot spoiler is genuine Saab and not aftermarket and in excellent condition, worth quite a bit in its own right.
Number plate will be removed and it will be put back onto its original reg no E129FCJ.
A wake up call has prompted me to start selling some of my cars as a health issue is the genuine reason for this sale.
