Description
Hello I'm selling a 1935 Chrysler Airstream sold new in France, I've owned this vehicle since 2017 and it ran very well, its 13 hp inline 6-cylinder had nothing to envy the 8 Ford flathead in driving pleasure, braked well (not by cable) as on the Ford, sound steering, its only fault was its suspensions too soft (there is a workshop that can redo them).
It's in good condition, it's very sound and has always been well preserved, the chassis is sound, I had a 1939 Cadillac LaSalle grille fitted because its grille had been cobbled together. I had the spare wheel hole in the front right fender plugged, the indicator holes on the fenders were plugged, the running board was removed to fit on the mother-in-law's seat. She went to be painted almost 3 years ago until and I redid the alpaca soft top. The front seat is in leather and in good condition, except at the back, where the mother-in-law's seat is new in imitation leather. But the rest needs to be redone (perhaps by a good handyman). The tyres need to be changed because the immobilisation has created a flat spot on the tyre and caused vibrations. Replace the mirrors, indicators, etc. It is for sale as I would like to have a US 2 door or 4 if SW only to tow my US boat or caravan. Possible trade-in, on a car before 65 Hello I am selling a 1935 Chrysler Airstream sold new in France. I have owned this vehicle since 2017 and it drove very well, its 13 hp inline 6 cylinder is as good as the Ford flathead 8 in driving pleasure, braked well (not cable) as on the Ford, sound steering, its only fault was its suspension was too soft (there is a workshop that can redo them).
It is in good condition, very healthy and has always been well preserved, the chassis is sound. I had a 1939 LaSalle Cadillac grille fitted as her grille had a cobbled grille, I had the spare wheel hole in the front right wing plugged, the turn indicator holes in the wings plugged, the running board removed to fit on mother-in-law's seat, she went for a paint job nearly 3 years ago and I redid the bonnet in alpagua. I took the car back after repainting, and it could do with a major overhaul, the ignition needs to be overhauled because the long idle time prevents it from turning normally, the front seat is in leather and in good condition, except at the bottom, and Mother-in-law's seat is new in imitation leather. But the rest would need to be redone (can be done by a good handyman) the tyres need to be changed as being immobilised has created a flat on the tyre and caused vibrations, put back the rear-view mirrors, front indicators etc. It is for sale as I would like to have a 2 door US car or 4 if sw only to tow my boat or my US caravan. Trade-in possible, on car before 65
