This is currently my second DB7, I can't justify having 2, the other is special to me so this one has to go in order to fund work on the other one. I've just taken the car on a 1200 mile road trip where it was absolutely faultless.
£3700 spent in the past few months on work inc. the following.
4 Brand new Bridgestone Turanza 6 tyres
Brand new uprated front wheel hubs and bearings
New top and bottom front suspension ball joints
New front brake discs and pads
Upgraded aluminum engine coolant & gearbox oil radiator fitted
Given it a service including Engine oil & filter, gearbox oil & filter
Emissions certificate purchased from AM and approved by TFL making it ULEZ exempt
Rear suspension radius arm bushes replaced
Good Bits
All the recent aforementioned work completed
Polybushed front suspension + Steering rack mounting point strengthening mod
Full service history from Aston specialists, other than a 3 year pause due to lockdowns.
High spec, premium audio, parking sensors
Tool kit present in untouched condition
Bad bits
The bodywork is not in great shape. The front nose cone and bumper are scuffed, chip on LH front wing, dent on bonnet and LH rear wheel arch has a slight crease. I have tried to take pictures that show the general condition as accurately as possible however there are too many small chips and blemishes on the car to show them all in photos.
The drivers side mirror cover is a slightly different shade of silver, it's difficult to see in photos but would benefit from being painted.
The spare key works to unlock/ lock the car however it causes sometimes causes an immobilizer error, so I highly recommend not using it to drive as it can cause the car to stall unexpectedly.
With all that in mind I have priced this quite a bit lower than any other Vantage Volante I can see for sale currently, and I'm happy to hear offers.
All in all, this is the perfect car for someone not too fussed about bodywork, not having to worry too much about scratching it, or leaving it in public genuinely makes the car much more enjoyable. Alternatively it's the perfect car for someone with a bodyshop that owes them a favor.
