This is a very unusual sale. Here we have my two almost identical American built Dodge Avenger SXT 4 door FWD saloons. Brief spec is 2 litre double overhead chain driven cam engine, with variable valve timing giving exceptional economy of 31-45mpg (average 36). 0-60 time of 10. 7 secs and top speed 118mph. Very roomy car with 441 litres of cargo space. 3 previous owners. Comprehensive service history. Solid rust free car with good paintwork except the 'go-faster' stripes which need re-applying or removing (preferable!). Excellent interior with some wear to driver's seat. These Avengers (reprised name from the old Rootes group Hillman Avenger) are fairly rare on UK roads, so you won't be confused on the supermarket carpark. I think these could be preserved as a future classics. I bought this striped one to keep as a backup/ parts donor for the other one, which I have owned for over ten years, but never needed anything. The other one has done 115, 000 trouble free miles (85k with me), still runs like a swiss watch and I would happily set off on 500 mile drive with no qualms . . . except I am now thinking an automatic car is on the horizon due to knee problems. So there you are. Two for the price of one. This one is tested to March 2025 and is on SORN. The other one is almost identical but has no go faster stripes, no Satnav, but has electric tilt & slide sunroof; heated/ cooled cup holders; top sound system and 20" wheels with four recent new tyres, and it's tested til April 2025. I shall be sad to see it go, as we have done so many happy miles together. They are so quiet on the road and a delight to drive. If you really can't house both cars then they can be separated.
