Description
Believed to be 1 of only 14 supplied worldwide and only 1 of 9 coupes supplied for the UK market, being a RHD SMG Coupe finished in Atlantis Blue Metallic.
The original interior was black nappa leather from new, however this example has undergone some cosmetic and performance enhancements over the years. This is a well-documented vehicle over the forums and I have known of this vehicle for a good 15 years within my area and it's been with 2 owners in that time so when the opportunity to purchase it came along, it was a no-brainer to purchase.
Let's start with the spec:
- Individual Atlantis Blue Metallic Paint
- Sunroof
- Heated Seats
- Electric Folding Mirrors
- Rear Electric Blind
- SMG II Gearbox
Enhancements over the years:
- Full interior overhaul in Bentley Nappa Leather with Atlantis Blue Stitching (done in 2012 so showing signs of wear now)
- Eisenmann backbox with Lemans tips 83mm
- Bilstein PSS9 Coilover Kit
- K-Sport front Brakes
- CSL rear diffuser
- Genuine 19" ACS Type 3 Racing Rims (need a refurb)
- Gruppe M genuine airbox
- Carbon Interior Trims
- E9x rear custom carbon spoiler
- 10" sub upgrade with RF speakers all round
- Colour coded front grilles, number plate holder and engine brace
Since owning the vehicle, i have spent £2000 on paint to rectify the small imperfections the car had.
The vehicle has not had the rod bearings or subframe done.
Now, the part you really want to know is if the price is negotiable and as i am keen on keeping a few parts such as the wheels, suspension and brakes, the answer is yes. The exhaust system has provisionally sold to a friend so a standard exhaust system will be put on before the sale.
A substantial amount can be knocked off if you bring your own wheels, suspension and front brakes! Or the car can go as it is (bar the exhaust) but i won't entertain low ballers as i don't need to sell it, i just don't get the time to use it and it's taxed/ insured which isn't cheap when running 3 other vehicles.
Please see below for the build thread from one of the previous owners who done the majority of the work. It's an outstanding M3 which gets a huge amount of attention whenever it does go out and i believe the parts on it currently are well worth the asking price.
