Starts first time and drives beautifully, very refined. Nippy in town and cruises happily at 70+. Used weekly including trips to France. Car in central London. 24, 855 km believed genuine. Only 10, 000km in my ownership, since November 2012. Good condition black vinyl interior, cream headlining, original steering wheel and all gauges and switches work (apart from the clock). Small split in drivers seat base and one doorpull missing in rear. Garaged. LMC member. Registered 01 10 1970, 1. 3l 4 speed (a ‘series 1 1/ 2’). LHD, imported from Venezia region. MOT and ULEZ exempt. Much expenditure (c. £6, 000) since 2012. Too much work done to list but includes respray, new master cylinder and servo. Rust free - new sills (inner, outer, centre) and repainted in 2019 in the original white colour which is holding up well.
Recent work includes new windscreen, Facet fuel pump/ E10 pipes, front anti roll bar bushes, exhaust centre section, front shock absorber bushes/ gaiters. These engines are fine to use unleaded. Larger idle jets fitted to cope with modern fuels. Recent 175 tyres, battery, full service including plugs, leads, air filter, gearbox oil. Selling because I am losing my garage space.
