Description
This CL63 AMG was first registered on 24th July 2013, specified in Diamond Silver Metallic (more of a light blue) with Black Exclusive leather and wood throughout. The AMG CL-classes were very highly equipped as standard above the base CL500; however the original owner of this example decided to further opt for the following: 20” AMG 5 Twin-Spoke Wheels in Silver, Keyless Go, Harman Kardon Logic 7 Surround Sound, SplitView Infotainment with DAB, Reversing Camera, AMG Exclusive Leather Package & Black Ash Wood. All of this brought the list price to £125, 620 in 2013.
This CL has been looked after incredibly well, being maintained with no expense spared throughout its life with nine Mercedes-Benz main dealer services and one at a specialist. Importantly for a Diamond Silver car, it has never had any body repairs and retains its original paint in its entirety. The exterior of the car is in exceptional condition with only a few stone chips on the frontal area, which have been touched in. The optional 20” wheels are in perfect condition and not over-refurbished like many are, the ‘AMG’ logo is still present and crisp. The interior is in similarly excellent condition with no damage to the leather, metal or wood to be seen; the only sign of use inside is some creasing on the driver’s side bolster.
The car has had 3 previous owners and has been with the same owner for the last 6 years, being used suitably as a long-distance tourer. The mileage today stands at 51, 500 with the last service being carried out at 51, 067 miles. The brake fluid, charcoal pollen filter and OSF cross-strut balljoint were replaced in addition to the standard service items. The car also had new brake discs and pads all round approximately 6, 000 miles ago.
These later C216 CLs represent some of best value-for-money on the market. They are undeniably smooth, quiet and comfortable at any speed and on any road with the BiTurbo AMG versions offering serious, reliable performance when required. This is a highly specified, highly original example that has clearly been cherished throughout its life.
