I bought the tr5 in 2007 it’s only 1 owner before me it’s needs a full body restoration, I have most panels to repair but not the boot floor , it comes with a brand new chassis which was bought back in the 80, s the diff bridge has now been boxed in with the right kit that’s the only welding it’s had , I believe it’s the only Tr5 with a New chassis , I have built it up the suspension so it’s a rolling chassis it’s concours condition, video available can’t add it here at the minute two new Michelin Xas front tyres , I have used willwoods 4 pot callipers uprated rear drive shafts , quick steering rack with solid mounts do have originals , new front shocks rear lever arms , adjustable rear trailing arm brackets , originals included .
Rear diff rebuilt this year engine unleaded/ gearbox'/ overdrive was fully rebuilt a few years ago using many upgrades on the engine both was filled with oil and stored accordingly.
It also has the Alloy surrey top will need new headlining , the centre Surrey is alloy very rare, plus the cloth Surrey is mohair brand new with sticks, I also have a front soft top rail to convert the Surrey for easy installation.
New dash facia , new moulded h frame covering with correct backing tr shop supplied,
It sits on steel wheels with lovely hubs caps , overhead linkage kit for the pi injection, uprated coated manifold . uprated high torque starter motor / altenator , past parts rebuilt brake servo this year also. Uprated fuel pump kit new,
Seats will need some repairs do have some interior trim .
Parts needed wiring loom / fuse box petrol tank , boot floor , the body shell needs full restoration ideal for the home restorer fantastic base to work from but as we know the bodywork is the hardest&costly , comes with new front wings inner wings door skin cills outer inner light rear pods.
If in doubt about any certain parts please ask me I will check and photograph.
I will even include my welding kit as I am not doing any more.
