Description
Ford Consul Capri 1962
Older restoration but in very good condition, owned since March 2017 and always garaged, a new engine fitted in April 2018, the car has only done around 1200 miles since new engine hence the reason for selling it just does not get the use it should.
Bits that I have done over my ownership are new headlining new door cards (Aldridge Trimming), new carpets to the whole floor.
This year I overhauled the brakes new fluid and rubbers as necessary.
The car is as original as it can be there has been no alterations to the car since its manufacture in 1962 apart from restoring.
Very smart front seat belts in red, everything works as it should apart from the retro fitted oil gauge, it has a working radio, I am told the the wheels are Lotus type and the wheels and tyres are in very good condition.
At present there is no MOT on the car but I will have an MOT when completion of the sale takes place, the car is also ULEZ, tax and MOT exempt.
The car is open to any viewing in daylight hours. This is a great little car and drive`s extremely well, it is also very comfortable not only being a great little car it has the backing of the club who are fantastically knowledgeable and helpful. I bought the new engine from the Midlands Area Representative Paul who once again is very knowledgeable on these cars, the club is very aware of this car.
I have quite a bit of history on the car and MOT certs back to 1987 with a couple of minor gaps (covid etc). Please contact me if you have any questions.
