1985 Honda Prelude (2nd Gen) - 24k Miles from New, FSH, Very Rare!
Hi and welcome to the listing for my lovely 2nd generation Honda Prelude.
Purchased directly from Honda in 2021, this came from their carefully curated 'Heritage' collection and was on display in their showroom for 9 years during this time.
Originally supplied to Crown Honda in London, cherished by 1 owner until they acquired it back for their collection, then myself & my Brother. It has covered a very low 24k miles from new.
Full service history by Honda - they also went through the whole car when we purchased it to ensure it was tip-top and ready to go, this included a service, cambelt change, and renewal of bushes.
It drives superbly, always starting first time with a smooth engine and automatic gearbox which allows for effortless and comfortable cruising.
All four tyres have been replaced in our ownership due to the fronts showing slight perishing and it still having the originals on the rear!
It presents in excellent condition throughout, and has a unique appearance with its colour-matched unobtanium 'autostyle' bodykit which was fitted from new.
Both bodywork and paintwork are in excellent condition with only age-related marks here and there.
The underside is just as good with no signs of corrosion, uncommon for any Japanese car from the 80s!
The interior is also in great condition with the seats showing barely any wear at all and the dash crack-free.
If being picky, there are a couple of areas to highlight which would improve the car: both bumpers are showing some paint pickling so could do with repainting if you wanted it perfect - I'm guessing this has happened due to the material. The front number plate (original) could do with replacing as it has delaminated.
Comes with owners manual, servicing booklet, invoices for work done and old MOT certificates.
MOT'd until November 2025, passing with no advisories.
Would make a perfect addition to any Honda enthusiast's collection.
