1950 MG Y Type
Hi and welcome to the listing for my lovely MG Y Type.
Looking both resplendent and stylish in its two-tone Turquoise and Cream paintwork, the MG presents very well. It was subject to an extensive older restoration and the engine was rebuilt in 2016.
Low ownership and only one keeper from 1981 until 2024.
Interior looks to be original and as such shows a nice patina.
As the car is 75 years old this year, there are a couple of bad points: It started and ran on the button recently but now requires the use of the solenoid to start so there may be a loose connection somewhere. On closer inspection, there is some paint 'pickling' (moisture? under paint) to front wings and doors.
Comes with driver's handbook, workshop manual, old MOT certificates.
