1. 8 mondeo zetec. This car was in daily use until 4 months ago, its currently SORN. It spent almost all of its life driving locally around town. It’s a fantastic car and a reluctant sale, as I was hoping to refresh the car to its former glory myself.
It is showing its age, especially on the body work, but can look amazing if someone can spend some time on it.
The car has had two owners from new, the first was apparently the showroom representative who took the vehicle home in the evening and at the weekend, so our family have had this car since it was virtually brand new.
The vehicle has been MOT’d every year and serviced almost every year. It’s been very reliable, and has almost never failed to start. When it did, the alternator and battery were replaced, and it now continues to start first time. I run the car every week or so to turn the engine over and maintain the battery. A new windscreen and wipers were fitted 2 years ago.
As mentioned the car needs some body work. The pictures show a lot of the work that needs doing. One of the rear wheel arch also needs work.
A known issue on these mk2 mondeos are the sills, one has already been repaired and welded as required by an older MOT. The other still needs doing, and there was an advisory on its last MOT.

Would make a great project for someone looking to bring an old Ford back to life, and there can’t be too many of these left around.
I also have a lot of the original documentation, and service details.
Additional info: The car also had a new clutch fitted just a couple of years ago, and has probably less than 15k miles usage on it.
